Employee & Family Assistance Program
The purpose of an Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) is to assist management & staff, employees and their families with any work related or personal problem which may affect their personal well being and/or their job performance.

An Employee and Family Assistance Program is part of a holistic approach that works toward the well being of employees and their family members. "Family members" usually includes partners and children (under age 19yrs.) who normally reside with the employees. This program is developed with the company to ensure the best service available to employees and their families.

The EFAP provides easily accessible, professional assistance. Services include assessment, referral, short-term counselling and follow up contact. Our professionally trained counsellors can help you with problems including marital and parent/child conflict, substance misuse and personal and workplace stress.

24 hour phone service in place to ensure access, and addresses possible crisis situations.

All workshops are developed to meet the unique needs of the group. Other topics available upon request. We can also design training that might not be listed above through special request.

Critical Incident Response
We will provide your company or community with Critical Incident Stress Management program development, incident response and training. With an approved trainer for the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation on staff, we can assist you in preparing for a critical incident through providing certified peer support training and developing a comprehensive response plan. Our therapists are specially trained in crisis response and can further assist you in crisis intervention services response.

Mediation
Our mediation services assist staff working through conflict in the workplace. Mediation can be utilized when any situation requires an impartial assessment of a situation, or conflict resolution intervention.
