![]() Our Staff All associates are mental health professionals and are registered with their professional associations. They have diverse backgrounds and are therefore able to offer clients a wide range of services. All associates uphold a very strict code of ethics as is dictated by the helping professions. Christina Dobson Brazzoni, MSW, RSW Christina has been practicing mental health therapy since 1989 and in the Prince George region since 1995. Christina holds a Master´s Degree in Social Work and is registered with her professional board. She is licensed for private practice within the province of British Columbia. She holds advanced certification in Critical Incidence Stress Management (CISM) and is an approved trainer with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. Christina also has certification in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR is a therapy used for trauma). Christina is an approved level one therapist for Health Canada, Medical Services Branch. Joanna is familiar with most treatment processes, planning, relapse prevention, and aftercare planning. Joanna has experience in adult loss and grief, sexual abuse, depression, marital conflict, and family systems. Joanna enjoys working with children and youth. She has a wide variety of child and youth related activities that cover feelings, loss and grief, peer pressure, alcohol and drugs, self-esteem, and ages and stages. In the past four years Joanna has gained extensive experience working with Aboriginal communities facilitating mental health clinical interventions,, community development, program planning, training, and coordination of requested services. Joanna is certified in trauma response through the International Critical Incident Stress Management Foundation. Joanna has responded on scene in several trauma incidents including suicide, murder, work place accident, and auto fatalities. I am experienced working with individuals, couples and families. People have addressed concerns with me such as family conflict, divorce and separation, step family issues, stress management, substance abuse, loss and grief, eating disorders, and depression. I am able to provide an environment that is positive and educational from which people can work to make positive changes in their daily lives. Jim Blake MEd, CCA Jim has a strong background in teaching, with a focus on disabilities. Jim has experience with adolescent psychiatrics, addictions, mens issues and family dynamics. Since his completion of Masters in Counselling, Jim has expanded his experience to the mental health field.
